I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist practising in Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire, with specialist expertise in cataract surgery, glaucoma and oculoplastic surgery.
As one of the few surgeons in the UK to have completed fellowship training in both glaucoma and oculoplastic surgery, I care for patients with a wide range of eye conditions, with an emphasis on careful treatment, clear advice and continuity of care.
Many of my patients come through personal recommendation from previous patients, optometrists and medical colleagues. I believe this reflects the importance I place on taking time to listen, explaining treatment clearly and helping patients feel comfortable with their care.
Alongside my clinical practice, I have trained eye surgeons across the UK and internationally, and I remain actively involved in advances in modern ophthalmic care so that my patients benefit from treatment that is both safe and up to date.

Beyond my practice, the majority of time is spent with my family, enjoying an active musical and outdoor life. We enjoy long country rambles, sailing, fly fishing and tinkering with classic cars. I also enjoy playing the Trumpet and listening to music.
Having grown up in the Westcountry in Tavistock, I have a passion for the outdoors and regularly enjoy wild camping on Dartmoor and sea kayaking expeditions along the south coast.
