I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist practising in Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire, with specialist expertise in cataract surgery, glaucoma and oculoplastic surgery.
I am one of the few surgeons in the UK to have completed advanced fellowship training in both glaucoma and eyelid surgery. I care for patients with a wide range of eye and eyelid conditions, taking time to understand their concerns and providing treatment that is tailored to their individual needs.
Much of my practice is built on recommendations from former patients, optometrists and fellow doctors, something I regard as a great privilege. I see both self-funding and insured patients and am recognised by all major UK insurers.
I remain actively involved in research, teaching and professional education, helping me to keep my knowledge and skills up to date so that I can offer patients the highest standard of care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking in the countryside, sailing, fly fishing and playing the trumpet. Music has always been an important part of my life, particularly jazz and classical performance.
I also enjoy restoring classic cars, a hobby that reflects the patience and attention to detail that I value in all aspects of my work. Having grown up in Tavistock, Devon, I remain passionate about the outdoors and regularly spend time on Dartmoor and along the South Coast.
